Training Registrations

All technical training classes are 3 days and held at our factory in Montreal, Canada*.  Training sessions cover operations as well as hands on technical training.

Hardt Technical Service Partner, Factory Certification

Prerequisite skills and knowledge:


• 3 + years active experience in repair of similar or actual equipment for which accreditation is given (gas rotisseries, combi steamers, hot display cases & conveyor ovens)
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, schematics (English)
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic meters used in appliance repair plus specific instruments for gas such as manometers, micro-amp meters, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of gas-fired systems (burners, pilots, ignitors) including flame-proving ignition controls, venturi’s etc.
• Established knowledge of electrical principals of motors, valves, lights, elements.
• Hands-on experience with Hardt Equipment  model for which accreditation is given

Passing Criteria for Accreditation:


• Very familiar and comfortable  with equipment documentation
• Can identify major subsystems, minor subsystems and many components  of the equipment using industry standard or Hardt-specific nomenclature
• Can describe detailed operation of equipment
• Can identify nearly all  causes and effect for equipment not operating normally
• Is aware of and has used special tools or test equipment as required to effect repairs
• Can safely dismantle, and re-assemble most of equipment 
• Can establish (without help from Hardt Technical Support Service) likely cause of most equipment malfunctions and implement correct repair strategy
• Understands equipment’s control software basic functions and uses in operation and diagnostic mode
• Familiar with parts ordering arrangement(s) with Hardt
