What kinds of foods can I cook in a Hardt rotisserie?
Hardt rotisseries are built for versatility and Hardt has a variety of different baskets and skewers to accommodate many different products. Chicken, chicken pieces, ribs, whole turkeys or turkey breast, roasts of beef/lamb/pork, root vegetables, potatoes and even fish can all be cooked to mouth-watering perfection in the Hardt rotisserie.

If you plan to cook items other than poultry, we recommend the Inferno open-flame rotisserie line. The dual-burner design allows for greater cooking flexibility and will produce optimal results.

How long can I expect my Hardt machines to last?

Hardt ovens are built to the highest quality standards. If the machines are maintained and cleaned as instructed, Hardt ovens can last as long as you want them to. We have units in the field that are over 25 years old that look and perform almost as new!

What are the advantages of the infrared burner?
The infrared burner provides a radiant heat that penetrates deep into the product to cook from the inside out. This prevents the product from drying out and eliminates the pinkish hue around the bones typically found with conventional rotisseries.

What do I need to know about venting my HARDT rotisserie oven?

As a gas appliance, your Hardt rotisserie must be properly vented. Some of our models have chimney-style vents while others have slots in the machine's roof. The bottom edge of the vent hood should be 2 - 6 inches (50 to 150 mm ) above the top of the machine's roof and must overhang the rotisserie by 6 inches (150 mm ) on all 4 sides. Grease traps and fire suppression nipples might also be required - check the local code in your area and consult with a local venting contractor.

Will my team receive a training package?

Yes! Hardt is dedicated to ensuring that your national or regional chain program succeeds. You will receive a Hardt Training Package that will answer your questions and help you evey step of the way.

How long will it take my operators to learn how to use a Hardt machine?

All of Hardt's products have been designed with the operator in mind. Each machine is operator-friendly and Hardt provides owner's manuals, videos, on-line cooking tips, local representatives and/or factory support to ensure you get the most from your investment as quickly as possible.

Does Hardt have a Preventative Maintenance Program?
Proper maintenance will keep your equipment running smoothly and prolong its life. Hardt often works with our customers to develop a maintenance program suited to their operational and information needs. As a rule, Hardt generally recommends your installer perform a 'check-up' after the first 6 months to gauge how well the equipment is being maintained at a particular location.

Why is the Zone heated merchandiser a major advance in the fight for food safety?
The revolutionary Zone hot display case was designed to eliminate guesswork and human error in keeping product temperatures above the food safety danger zone. With the flick of a switch the unit monitors surface temperatures in multiple heat zones and adjustments are made instantly to assure stable product temperature, texture and quality for long periods of time.

How does the Hardt Cleaning Solution clean better, reduce labor costs and increase morale?

This amazing technology removes baked-on carbon and grease from all sorts of cooking accessories. Rotisserie skewers and baskets, bakery pans, hood filters and many other items can be placed in the tank and let it do the work. After soaking for anywhere from 1 hour to overnight, staff remove the items and rinse the grime off them. Laborious scrubbing is eliminated and yet the utensils are extremely clean. The detergent is operator and environment-safe too!

What type of products can I hold in the Snack Zone?

The Snack Zone can hold baked goods such as croissants, muffins, cookies and more.
